Inclusive Care & Access Network
Bridging funding gaps so essential care never stops.
The ICAN Support Program is a short-term assistance initiative designed to support individuals who are navigating temporary funding limitations, transitions within the NDIS, or urgent support needs. ICAN is needs-based, time-limited, and non-contractual, and operates under strict eligibility and governance controls.
While the NDIS provides long-term funding for approved disability supports, some participants may face periods where essential care is at risk due to delays, exhausted funding, or changes in circumstances. ICAN operates alongside the NDIS to provide temporary, ethical support during these moments without undermining participant choice, control, or NDIS pricing integrity.
The program is designed to offer reassurance, stability, and clarity. All ICAN requests are assessed individually and delivered under strict governance controls, with clear entry and exit pathways. Participation in ICAN is discretionary and does not replace funded supports or guarantee ongoing services.
For participants with low or exhausted Core funding who require short-term assistance while planning or evidencing future supports.
Support for individuals awaiting an NDIS access decision or between plans.
Designed to relieve carer burnout and prevent placement breakdowns.
For participants facing immediate risk and lacking funded support coordination.
Temporary accommodation support while awaiting SIL or SDA funding decisions.
The ICAN Support Program is not a permanent discount program, a guaranteed entitlement, or a replacement for funded NDIS supports. All assistance is time-limited and subject to assessment and availability.
Phendit Disability & Home Care offers the ICAN (Inclusive Care & Access Network) Support Program, a short-term, discretionary assistance program for participants experiencing funding gaps, waiting for plan approvals, or requiring urgent supports. ICAN is time-limited, participant-focused, and fully compliant with NDIS Practice Standards.
We adhere to strict governance controls. All ICAN supports are documented, transparent, and operate alongside standard NDIS safeguarding policies to ensure quality and safety are never compromised.
Access is strictly needs-based. Participants or their nominees can contact our team to request an eligibility assessment based on their current funding status and immediate risks.
Every ICAN arrangement is documented with a clear agreement outlining the temporary nature of the support, the specific concessions offered, and the planned exit pathway to standard funding.
